A cart-based ultrasound built around species, not just anatomy
The Vetus 5Exp is the cost-effective model in Mindray’s cart-based veterinary ultrasound range. Its presets are organised by species and then subdivided by weight and body size, so a small dog, a medium dog and a large dog are separate starting points rather than one canine preset.
The workflow is built for a consulting room: transducers and their exam modes sit on one interface and switch within a second, the last four modes stay at hand, and iWorks walks the operator through abdomen and cardiology sequences. Auto PW and Auto CW take the repetitive measurement steps out of a scan.
The imaging set covers more than a basic system. UWN contrast imaging supports abdominal perfusion assessment, iScape extends the field of view for lesions larger than the probe footprint, elastography displays tissue stiffness, and the cardiology package adds Free Xros M with up to three sample lines plus TDI with four modes and TDI QA.
