Economical mobile veterinary ultrasound with a 12.1-inch monitor, two exchangeable probe connectors, PW Doppler and two hours of battery operation.
ICEN supplies selected professional medical equipment. Product availability and market authorization vary by country.
An entry mobile system that still carries Doppler
The DUS60 Vet is Edan’s economical mobile veterinary ultrasound. Edan describes it as a general-purpose black-and-white system, but the feature list is broader than that label suggests: PW Doppler, phase-inversion harmonic imaging and eight-segment TGC are all included.
The display is a 12.1-inch TFT-LCD monitor, and two active exchangeable connectors carry five-frequency transducers. Edan lists seven probe types for the system, covering linear, micro-convex, convex and rectal work, which is what makes a single mobile unit usable across small animal and large animal calls.
Battery operation is rated at two hours, so the unit can run a farm visit or a series of stalls without a socket. Data leaves the system by USB or DICOM, and there is a dedicated image-processing key plus multiple pseudo-colour maps for on-screen adjustment.
Applications
- Farm and stable visits
- Small animal abdominal scanning
- Reproduction and pregnancy checks
- Basic Doppler flow assessment
Who is this product for?

Mobile systems trade screen size and probe count for portability and battery life. If most examinations happen in a clinic room, a desktop system gives more imaging per purchase.
Common questions about Edan DUS60 Vet Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound System
Is this a colour Doppler system?
Edan describes the DUS60 Vet as a general-purpose black-and-white system and lists PW Doppler plus phase-inversion harmonic imaging. It is not presented as a colour Doppler platform — if colour flow is required, compare the U50 Vet or U60 Vet.
How long does the battery last?
Two hours of battery-powered operation, which is the figure Edan publishes for this model.
What probes are available?
Edan lists L743-2, L761-2, C361-2, C321-2, C611-2, V563-2 and VL8-3WD, all five-frequency transducers. Confirm the probe set with your configuration.
Can it export images?
Yes, by USB and DICOM, and the system also supports multi-format data transfer.
How does it compare with the U60 Vet?
The U60 is a desktop general imaging system with a 15-inch monitor, dual transducer ports and colour Doppler features. The DUS60 is the mobile, economical option.
What is not published?
Edan does not publish screen resolution, weight or dimensions for the DUS60 Vet. Ask ICEN for the datasheet.
