The H60 Vet is Edan’s 5-part veterinary haematology analyzer. It reports 31 parameters, 25 of them reportable and six research-use-only, including ALY (abnormal lymphocytes) and LIC (large immature cells) — the two flags that most often decide whether a CBC changes the clinical plan.
The interface is a 12-inch TFT touch screen on an Android base, which Edan compares to using a smartphone. Reports carry the previous result for the same animal, so a recheck shows the trend rather than a number in isolation.
Species coverage matches the H30: 15 presets plus unlimited custom profiles. Maintenance is needed once every 50 tests, and the reagent set carries a two-year closed shelf life with 180 days open. The sample volume is 16 microlitres, which is still small enough for most feline and small canine patients.

ALY flags abnormal lymphocytes and LIC flags large immature cells. Both are reported parameters on the H60 Vet, and both are the kind of finding that prompts a smear review.
How does it differ from the H90X Vet?
The H90X reports 46 parameters including reticulocytes, uses embedded DIFF and RET dyes with fluorescence on both channels, and provides two rotating 3D scattergrams. The H60 stops at the 5-part differential without a reticulocyte channel.
Does it show previous results?
Yes. Edan states that reports provide the previous result when the same animal is examined again, so trends are visible without a separate lookup.
