Mindray DigiEye 680 Digital Radiography System
Mindray DigiEye 680 compact ceiling-mounted DR with one-button system control, RF remote movement, wide clinical coverage and optional iStitch stitching.
ICEN supplies selected professional medical equipment. Product availability and market authorization vary by country.
A ceiling-mounted room that keeps the floor clear
The DigiEye 680 is Mindray’s compact ceiling-mounted digital radiography system. Because the tube is carried on a ceiling suspension rather than a floor column, the floor area around the table stays free, which is why Mindray positions it for rooms where space is tight but the case mix is broad.
Operation is deliberately simplified. A one-button control box starts or shuts down the whole system, and movement is driven by an RF remote that Mindray states works even from the console room, so the radiographer is not walking back and forth to the table.
Mindray describes the platform as flexible in configuration, with wide clinical coverage and iStitch auto stitching as an option for full-spine and full-leg studies. The workstation console handles acquisition and reporting, with a dedicated diagnostic monitor available as an option.
Applications
- Busy radiology departments needing broad clinical coverage
- Rooms with limited floor space or constrained ceiling height planning
- Full-spine and full-leg studies with the iStitch option
- High-throughput general radiography
Who is this product for?
- Radiology departments and imaging rooms
- Community hospitals and primary care institutions
- Orthopaedic and chest radiography workflows
- Facilities replacing computed radiography with DR

Ceiling-mounted systems are chosen for room layout and tube travel rather than for a longer feature list. If floor space is not the constraint, the DigiEye 350 covers the same routine work at a lower installation cost; for bedside and ICU imaging, use the MobiEye 700.
Common questions about Mindray DigiEye 680 Digital Radiography System
Why choose a ceiling-mounted system?
The tube runs on a ceiling suspension instead of a floor column, so the floor around the table stays clear and the tube can travel over a wider area. That suits departments where the room layout is constrained but the case mix is broad.
What does the one-button control box do?
It starts or shuts down the whole system with a single press, rather than switching components on individually.
Can it be operated from the console room?
Yes. Movement is controlled with an RF remote, which Mindray states works even from the console room.
Is stitching included?
iStitch auto stitching is listed as optional. Specify it if you take full-spine or full-leg studies.
How does it compare with the 350?
Both cover routine radiography. The 350 is floor-mounted with bidirectional synchronisation; the 680 is ceiling-mounted, which frees floor space and extends tube travel, and adds the one-button system control.
Do you have the technical datasheet?
Mindray publishes feature-level information only. Ask ICEN for the datasheet covering detector, generator, ceiling suspension travel and exposure parameters.
